How do I start a new test?

  1. Make sure you have selected a patient (if not, go to the Patient Database and select a patient).
  2. Click the button "Start test".
  3. If you want to conduct an automatic test, click the button "Auto test".

How can I change the language in AudioConsole?

  1. Go to the Settings window.
  2. Click and select a language from the drop-down list.
  3. Click OK.

How can I disable frequencies that is not used?

  1. When AudioConsole is open click the "Audio Setup" button.
  2. Click the checkboxes to enable/disable frequencies as depicted below.
  3. Click OK.
NOTE: This feature is NOT available in the Oscilla USB-100 audiometer.

How do I enable the comport?

  1. Go to the Settings window.
  2. On the General tab page, click the checkbox to enable COM port A and/or B.
  3. Click OK.

How do I enter a license key in AudioConsole?

  1. Go to the Settings window.
  2. On the General tab page enter the license as depicted below.
  3. Click Activate.

How do I use an Oscilla® SM audiometer or TSM tympanometer with AudioConsole?

  1. Make sure you have a COM port in the computer.
  2. Enable COM port: Follow the How do I enable the comport? question.
  3. Enter license key: Follow the How do I enter a license key in AudioConsole? question.
  4. Turn on the audiometer/tympanometer.

How do we share the AudioConsole database in a multi-user environment?

If you want to share a single AudioConsole database across multiple installations, the database must reside on a network drive.
  1. Put the database on a network drive.
  2. From each AudioConsole installation, go to the Settings window.
  3. Change the database location to point to the database on the network drive.
  4. Click OK.
